Southend Pier, Essex is a great location to get up close with Med Gull's.
Today's total was 30 birds of all ages.
With 3 birds that had darvic rings more on them later ..

Dull grey blanket cloud rendered Virtually No detail or catch-light.
But it's better than sitting indoors !!

Know what you mean about the light, it was seriously crap today as well - really tough going - roll on spring!
