With so many White-wingers and a few other good gulls about, we packed up and flew out to Ireland for a long weekend.
We booked with Ryanair, and took off from Stansted at 08:20am, into Shannon and by midday was on Nimmo's Pier, Galway surrounded by a dozen Iceland's, 3 Ring-billed and a Kumlien's !!!
Throughout the afternoon birds would come & go, the action was non-stop ... and trying to pick a target bird in the chaos at a feeding frenzy was great fun ...

Shame that it was overcast, which meant high iso's, but even the dull conditions couldn't put a dampener on this crazy afternoon.
