Our next encounter was returning back from Myvatn, another huge lake with 3 adults close in the light was poor but the birds looked superb ...
If only for better light, the grey cloud cover increased and the light failed so we gave in ...

What lakes was it.. I go up there i may month so nice to know.
Most of the images come from Lake Masvatn on Rout 1 and also from a Lake near Langholt on Route 54 ..
My tip is go onto to google maps and change to satalite view this shows up more lakes search where you are near to and good luck ..
